Peter Obi accosted, detained and deported back to Nigeria by British authorities__ FFK

In a recent tweet from Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, one of the spokespersons for the president-elect, he made a mocking statement about the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi. Fani-Kayode ridiculed Obi’s recent encounter with the British authorities, where he was allegedly detained and deported back to Nigeria. This statement was made on Fani-Kayode’s verified Twitter account and has since sparked reactions from the public.

The story of Peter Obi’s encounter with the British authorities has been widely circulated on various media outlets and social media platforms. It was reported that the former Anambra state governor was detained while trying to enter the United Kingdom (UK) last week Friday. During his interrogation, Obi was informed that his identity had been duplicated and he was being impersonated by someone else in Britain.

It appears that Fani-Kayode was also aware of the news as he reacted with a tweet that seemed to ridicule Obi’s situation. While it is unclear why Fani-Kayode made the statement, it has caused controversy and criticism from various quarters. Some people see it as insensitive and unnecessary, while others believe it is just political banter.
